The Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee has just released the list of oversea talents who were selected to the 2009 China “Thousand Talent Program”, and Dr. Jiming Liu, President of Itibia Technologies, has been chosen. He is the only entrepreneur selected into the program in the city of Suzhou this year. He is also the first person one who has the honor after the Suzhou Industrial Park has been granted as the National Base of Oversea Talent. About “Thousand Talent Program” The “Thousand Talent Program” is the short for a program led by the central government to introduce oversea talents. The goal is to attract and encourage around 2000 oversea scientists and business leaders in total to come to work in China for innovation and entrepreneurship in the next 5 to 10 years.
