The OfficeTen 1820 Access Service Gateway (ASG) is load-balance intelligent security router targeted to small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with 100 - 400 users. The system provides switching, routing, wireless access and other basic functions as well as comprehensive security functions that support an enterprise network at a minimum cost.

The Office 1820 unit supports TR-069 remote network management protocol and SNMP standard remote protocol, which allows operators to monitor conditions that warrant administrative attention. The intelligent switching and routing functions provide steady link load-balancing features to guarantee the consistent flow of network traffic.

The Office 1820 product provides the following services; Dual WAN link load-balancing, Firewall, Wireless Network, VPN, Intelligent QoS, Bandwidth Management, Access Control, Anti-Virus and Intrusion Prevention, and provides reports of traffic usage and sessions.
