The OfficeTen 5010 is the first Security Service Gateway (SSG) to utilize multi-core RISC processor architecture integrated with proprietary processing chips and parallel processing mechanisms for network behavior management. This hardware and software integration ensures that the OfficeTen 5010 can process a large flow of data in a complex business application environment with a high degree of reliability and optimal performance. The unit is equipped with a bypass switch and soft-bypass that allows the network and network operations to remain uninterrupted during a power outage or a hardware or software failure, thus maintaining employee productivity. The system allows for local management or centrally controlled remote management and can be upgraded manually on-line or automatically.

The OfficeTen 5010 secured gateway functionality includes; protocol feature recognition technology that can produce behavior-based protocol statistics and accurately detect applications such as; Thunder, BitTorrent, eMule, eDonkey, Yahoo Messenger, QQ, cyclone, FlashGet, QQ, MSN, PPLive and hundreds of other types of P2P/IM as well. The feature can be configured as; time based, user or department based, set application protocols, P2P / IM limitation, alarms, restrictions and blocking.

Complete audit of online behavior

The unit is equipped with a comprehensive audit management system. The system can audit and record a variety of Internet activity including P2P / IM, Web browsing, BBS, Internet multimedia, file sharing, email sending and receiving records, data transmission. The system can monitor and record real time-time users accessing the Web, IP traffic and IP session, protocol session and bandwidth usage. The system can query and generate comprehensive analysis records and reports for the user’s behavior on the network.

Robust application filteringFiltering

The OfficeTen 500 supports content filtering including; keywords, URL filtering, a variety of classified sites and applications and protocol filtering. Filtering policies can be established according to department, users IP / MAC and at specific time periods and intervals.

Security Features

Engineered for delivering secured services, the Office 5010 has an integrated Firewall and Defense/VPN. The system can prevent spam attacks such as DOS attacks; enhance extranet security and provides anti-ARP detection. The system has user and user group authentication.

The system provides a series of customizable reports and analysis allowing the administrator and management to establish security policies and protocols to enhance employee productivity. Traffic trends and detailed usage and analysis can be organized in custom reports in accordance with the user name/ user group, top users, frequency of use, application, classification, application protocols, business distribution and usage, data flow size.
