The OfficeTen 5010 Security Service Gateway (SSG) is a one rack-unit that specifically targets small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and large enterprise branch offices with 100 users or less. The SSG provides a high performance secured network environment with reliable functionality to manage users and traffic. Customers can optimize their networks while implementing the Six Sigma management strategy.

Features which enhance employee productivity while reducing bandwidth congestion include; DDoS attack protection and application Firewall, anti-ARP attack within the network, user management and authentication (IP/ MAC / Portal / AD / Radius), QoS service differentiation, traffic statistics and management, behavior and time management, application and content management (URL filtering / P2P/IM/Email /share /games/ streaming media) as well as generating network usage audit reports, statistics and analysis.

The unit network interface is equipped with one 100Base-T, three 10/100/1000Base-T and two SFP Gigabit Fiber ports. The processor is a Dual MIPS64 Core with throughput of 70 mbps. The SSG supports remote management and off-line browsing and data access.
